Wife behind bars for stabbing death of her husband

A man is discovered on the ground with stab wounds Wednesday evening.

Okmulgee deputies say John Rubison was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

His wife, Tabitha Rubison, was taken into custody and faces a complaint of second-degree murder.

Deputies say they received the call around 8:24 p.m. for a stabbing at a trailer park.  He was then taken to Okmulgee Memorial Hospital.

Okmulgee District Attorney's Office and deputies investigated the crime.  Deputies say this is when it was decided to arrest the wife.

She's currently in the Okmulgee County Jail.
