Video: Puppy named Adolph due to Hitler resemblance

The puppy was originally named Patch but then they posted his picture on social media.

"He's my grandson's dog, and none of us noticed the likeness until we put a photo on Facebook.”

The pup’s owner Lynda Whitehead told The Mirror "when my eldest daughter saw it she said 'You've got a little Hitler there'.

So people started calling the dog Adolph, and it’s stuck. The puppy is now responding to that name rather than Patch.

But Lynda, who lives in York, North Yorkshire, Great Britain says this dog is no heel Hitler.

"He is a lovely little thing. All of them are, but he is the gentlest of them all. He will sit on your lap and just look at you, until he falls asleep.”

Take a look at the video of Patch, or Adolph, whichever you prefer, below.
