UPDATE: Mounds High School evacuated after bomb threat

Mounds High School has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

KRMG has learned that the Creek County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are on the scene at the high school.

Investigators told our partners at FOX23 a school resource officer heard about a threat against the school on Twitter.

The school quickly evacuated students, moving them to a softball field and using school buses to shield them in case of an explosion.

OHP Capt. George Brown tells KRMG that bomb snifing dogs swept the school and no device was found.

Once the sweep came up empty, the all-clear was given.
