Tulsa, Okla. - A reason to think twice before giving money to panhandlers.
Tulsa police say an unregistered sex offender was arrested Thursday afternoon, after he was found panhandling in the middle of the street, near 2nd and Utica.
Tony Ducat is said to have given officers a fake name at first. A short time later, officers discovered his real name and that he's an unregistered sex offender out of Tennessee.
Things continued to get worse for Ducat after he was taken into custody.
Police say he threatened to rape a female officer and her husband.
Ducat is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.
He faces multiple counts including failing to register as a sex offender, false impersonation, and threatening a violent act.
