Two children killed in south Tulsa apartment fire

Tulsa firefighters say the two children who were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon have died.

The two-year-old and the six-year-old were both taken to Saint Francis Hospital in serious condition.

Two women were also taken to the hospital for injuries related to the fire at the London Square Apartments near 61st and Lewis around 3:00 p.m.

KRMG talked to neighbors who say the children were home alone when the fire started.

One neighbor says she, along with several other neighbors, had to break the door down because the children's mother was too shaken up to unlock the door.
