Tulsa ranks #7 on list of meat loving cities

The list comes from the Movoto blog and ranks Tulsa right behind Birmingham, Alabama and in front of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The rankings were based on several carnivore criteria like;

Steak houses per capita, butchers/meat shops per capita, barbecue restaurants per capita, burger joints per capita, hot dog vendors per capita, number of National BBQ Festivals annually, and cattle ranches within 15 miles.

All cities were ranked on a scale of 1 to 100 on each qualification and the list put together from that.
