The more parents spend on college, the lower their child's grades

Paying more for college could actually be harming your children.

That's the word from the American Sociological Review.

The group did a study showing that the more money parents spent on their kid's college education, the worse grades the kid earned.

The study comes to the conclusion that excessive parental help seems to kill a kid's sense of accountability.
