Teenager shot near Tulsa elementary school

Tulsa police are investigating a shooting near an elementary school.

We're told that the teen was walking in a field near Lewis and Clark Elementary School at 8th and Garnett Sunday around 9:15 p.m. when he was shot in the leg.

The boy told police that he did not see where the shot came from or who fired it.

Police tell us that, after interviewing the boy, he admitted to having shot himself.

The victim is expected to recover.
