Suspect accused of fifth DUI after high-speed chase

A Tulsa man is arrested on suspicion of his fifth DUI after a high speed chase through Tulsa early Saturday morning.

An arrest report reads 48-year-old Kevin Louis George was seen swerving by a Tulsa County Sheriff's deputy and a traffic stop ensued.  The suspect didn't pull-over and ended up reaching  speeds of over 100 mph.

The high-speed chase ended when George crashed into a ditch.

After being taken into custody, an odor of alcohol could be detected on his breath, cocaine was found in his car and police found marijuana on the ground where he had thrown a plastic bag.

George was booked on counts of drug possession, DUI, resisting arrest and eluding officers.

Court records state he has four prior DUI convictions.
