Stillwater group wins $2 million lottery

Six co-workers in Stillwater are celebrating after winning $2 million in this week’s Powerball lottery.

The group won the $1 million prize, but had opted into the Power Play option, so that doubled the winnings.

Persistence does pay of, as they say they’ve been playing the lottery as a pool for over five years now.

Those winning number from Wednesday were 16, 22, 23, 42 and 55. The Powerball: 32.

After taxes, each person would get around $230,000.
