Cory Monteith has been in rehab before but he’s now checked himself back in to deal with substance addiction.
Monteith’s representative told People magazine that the male lead of the popular show was voluntarily admitted in an attempt to deal with his issues.
The 30 year old Monteith has not been shy about admitting his problems, saying he was in rehab once before when he was 19.
Monteith is dating co-star Lea Michele, she released a statement saying she was "grateful and proud" of his choice to continue to fight.
"I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this," she added.
There are two episodes of the current season to film and reports say the move won't interfere.
