Shooting victim approaches Tulsa house for help, dies later at hospital

A man is dead after approaching a west Tulsa house that is located near the Arkansas River and telling those inside that he had been shot.

Tulsa Police Corporal Jeremy Noland tells us the victim went to a house  near 7th and Quanah about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

"It appears a white male in his 40's had walked up to the residence after being shot."

Noland also tells us that the victim was transported to the hospital where he died.

We're told that police have no suspect information and there is no indication of where the shooting took place.

The victim's name has not been released.

Noland tells us that the investigation is ongoing.
