School board to vote on new Educare building

KRMG has learned Tulsa school board members will vote on a new Educare building soon.

The project will be paid for with $6 million from the George Kaiser Family Foundation and $6 million from a 2015 bond.

Board members will vote on a 50-year lease agreement with the city. If passed, the center will be built behind Celia Clinton Elementary School.

For reference, the vote is scheduled to take place on April 2.
