Ron Burgundy to host ESPN's Sportscenter

The big haired news icon will sit in the Sportscenter chair, presumably on December 5^th.

Reports say Will Ferrell’s character will be the focus of the show and will bring the style only Burgundy can pull off.

ESPN hasn’t confirmed the appearance as of yet but it seems destined to take place.

This isn’t the only sports reporting the mythical newsman will be involved with.

Earlier this week Canadian network TSN confirmed Ferrell will bring the Burgundy character to their broadcasts of curling.

We only hope that Ron gives his sports guy, Champ Kind a spot on the shows as well.
