Police release name of homicide victim

Sun, March 26, 2017 — We're learning more about a man who was found dead Saturday morning, inside a Tulsa home.

Police tell us 42-year-old Carlos Record was located at a residence near North Peoria and East Apache.  The unidentified person who found Record called 911.

It’s believed Record was shot.  However, an official cause of death hasn’t been released.

Record was well-liked by his peers.  One man tells us Record was a good man, who could have made it huge in the music business.

“He could have been the next Puff Daddy,” the man said.  “That’s how his skills was.”

Police spent the day interviewing multiple people. As of early Sunday morning, no arrests have been announced.
