Pink-haired burglar runs out of home with scissors

A woman sporting pink hair is accused of trying to break into two houses on Thursday.

Tulsa police say when they arrived to the first home, the victim said Korrie McKinley threatened death if they didn't let her inside.  The homeowner didn't comply with the request.

Instead, the homeowner kept the door closed and called police.

Officers arrived out to the house and took the victim's statement.  Before long, they received a call about the same suspect breaking into another nearby home.

Police arrived to the second scene and McKinley had already locked herself inside a bathroom of the home.  She wasn't in there very long before running back outside with a pair of scissors in her hand.

Officers then took the suspect into custody.  No word if she was sober.

Police say nobody was harmed.

McKinley is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.  She faces one count of burglary first degree, attempted burglary first degree, and threatening a violent act.
