Officers arrest man in motel 'John' sting

It's a daily occurrence in Tulsa for prostitutes to get arrested.

Officers conduct stings, check out massage parlors, and use the popular website Backpage.com to catch their suspects.

On Friday, officers conducted a 'John' sting.  It's hardly unheard of, but definitely not an everyday occurrence in Tulsa.

Tulsa police say Edgar Carrasco approached an undercover officer with $30 at the Executive Inn near 11th and Garnett.

He's said to have asked for a date and an officer took him up to a motel room.  There were additional officers waiting inside the room to make the arrest.

Police say Carrasco wasn't ready to be busted.  He's accused of resisting arrest, but was eventually taken into custody.

Once in handcuffs on a count of soliciting an act of prostitution, Carrasco is said to have admitted, "My life is over."

His mug wasn't available because he's a hold for ICE.
