The accident happened just north of the Broken Arrow expressway, near 44th street.
Traffic is backed up for several miles and Tulsa police blocked entrance ramps as far back as 71st street.
Witnesess say the motorcyle came onto 169 from the Broken Arrow expressway at a high rate of speed. The rider lost control and hit a curb. It then wobbled onto the road and was hit hard by a truck.
Emergency workers told KRMG news the motorcycle rider was transported to the hospital in very serious condition.
