Charges have been filed against a Muskogee builder in a home repair fraud scam.
Attorney General Scott Pruitt's Public Protection Unit filed 12 charges against Jason Priest, owner of JMP Buildings and Muskogee Barn Company.
Priest is accused of signing contracts and accepting initial payments to build barns and outbuildings for homeowners.
After the frames were built the homeowners made second payments, but Priest never completed the work.
The state believes that collectively the victims lost more than $82,000.
Some of the victimized homeowners were in Tulsa, Creek, Wagoner and Pawnee counties.
