Motorcyclist crashes into deer, transported in critical condition

A deer jumps in front of a motorcyclist Friday evening, sending one man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the accident happened on Garnett Road in Collinsville, near 126th Street North.

49-year-old Mark Robinson lost control of his Yamaha motorcycle after the deer hit him.  Troopers say he was then thrown from his bike.

Robinson was transported in critical condition with head injuries.  Troopers say he wasn't wearing a helmet.

A second motorcyclist crashed into the first bike, but 48-year-old Charlotte Crawford is expected to be just fine.

Troopers say she also wasn't wearing a helmet.
