Medical Examiner: Homicide victims shot in the head

A Medical Examiner report says the four victims in the 61st and Peoria homicides last week were shot in the head.

Misty Nunley, Julie Jackson and twins Rebeika Powell and Kayetie Powell Melchor were dead at the scene at the Fairmont Terrace apartments.

A judge increased the bail for Freddie Allen Hayes yesterday from $11,000 to $250,000.

Records show Hayes was being held in the Tulsa County jail on other charges not related to the killings.

Court documents say Hayes was at least a witness in the homicides.
