Man shoots father-in-law in the head in church

It began when Charles Jennings Jr. used a gun to steal a pick-up truck. Jennings then drove to St. James Catholic church, walked in and shot his father-in-law in the back of the head.
It gets worse.
Parishioners say Jennings walked into the back of the church with his wife, holding her hand. "I’m assuming he brought her to church to watch him kill her father on Father’s Day," one told the Standard-Examiner.
Church goers say the priest explained afterwards that Jennings has been in a rough relationship with his wife including abusing her at times.

Police in Ogden, Utah told the Salt Lake Tribune they think Jennings shot the man due to what they describe as a "domestic violence-related incident."

Jennings ran from the church but was caught a short time later and is charged with suspicion of attempted aggravated criminal homicide and aggravated robbery
The wounded man has not been named but is in said to be in critical condition but is expected to live although there isn’t any word on lasting effects from the injury.
