Man found shot in head, barely alive

A shooting victim is barely alive after he's found down between two buildings at the Meadows Apartments at 2833 South 115th East Avenue near 31st and Garnett.

Tulsa police are calling it a shooting with intent to kill after they found the victim about 11:42 p.m. Monday.

TPD Corporal Kevin Warne tells us, "Officers arrive and discover a adult black male with a single gunshot wound to the head."

Witnesses told police that two suspects fled in an unknown vehicle.

"We really don't even really have a vehicle description on it either so at this time it's a who's who, we really don't have a lot to go on right now."

The 37-year old victim's name is being withheld until relatives can be notified.
