Shanon Adams was having a bad night and it just got worse. Police responded to an alarm at a building around 3 am. When they arrived they found a window broken and a trail of blood.
Cops in Key West then released Cyress, a four year old German Shepard police dog but by the time they got to the second floor they found Adams in nothing but shoes and socks, punching the K-9 in the head.
The dog is fine, Adams went to jail.
Later the same afternoon police were working with a mounted patrol along a beach when Yeorgo Kapiris stood next to a police horse named Smoke.
Kapiris leaned against the horse and when the animal moved he punched Smoke in the neck.
Kapiris went to jail as well.
Under law, police department animals are considered law officers.
