Man accused of throwing tiles during a robbery has been charged

A follow-up to a story KRMG first brought you last weekend.

Court records show 30-year-old Timothy John Howard was charged in Tulsa on Friday with one count of fire-degree robbery.

He's accused of throwing tiles at another man while chasing and trying to rob him.  Police say the incident happened near 10th and Lewis.

Howard did get away with a small amount of cash.  TPD say he was taken into custody a short time later.

The victim had managed to stab Howard during the chase.  Police say he wasn't seriously injured.
