The UPS cargo plane was on approach to the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport this morning when it crashed.
WSB-TV reports a large fireball was seen in the area and reports now say the pilot and co-pilot of the plane were both killed in the crash.
Reports say the flight originated in Louisville, Ky. and went down in a field owned by the airport.
