Husband threatens to shoot his wife

A Bixby man is accused of threatening to shoot his wife on Wednesday.

Police say they were called out to a home near 131st and Memorial.

When they arrived, Carlos Ironbear rushed out to them and said his wife had threatened to "shank" him.

It turned out, it was Ironbear who was doing the threatening.  His wife was actually the victim.

Officers spoke with the wife, and she said Ironbear kept a case with a gun inside.  On multiple occasions, he threatened to shoot her with the gun.

On the latest occasion, he pulled the case out and supposedly said, "I'm going to kill you with this."

Officers asked Ironbear about the case and he said he had returned it to his brother-in-law.

Police say they still searched for the case, and found it in the kitchen.  Ironbear said he lied about the gun because he didn't have a license.

He was then taken into custody.  He faces multiple counts including threatening an act of violence and obstruction.
