Homicide victim #69 shot inside car, daughter is witness

Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa Police investigate the 69th homicide of 2017.

27-year old Lavell Richardson was found shot dead inside a car Thursday morning, but even more shocking, a 2-year-old girl was inside the car.

“The first officer that arrived made sure that the child was okay and we got the child immediately to safety,” TPD said.

This all happened near 57th street North and Frankfort when neighbors reported hearing shots fired.

Tulsa police say witnesses are being cooperative, but they don't have much to go on right now.
