Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was stopped as he was leaving a Publix grocery store on Tuesday.
Multiple reports say Winston was trying to take crab legs without paying for them.
Tomahawk Nation writes Winston wasn’t arrested but was given “an adult civil citation."
The website goes on to explain “if he completes the sanctions it will never show up on his record. They commonly give them to juveniles on first criminal offenses. They are now doing it for minor misdemeanors for adults to lower crime rate."
This isn’t the first time the QB has had problems.
Police investigated Winston for rape as well as an ongoing issue with a BB gun. He was also accused of stealing soda from a Burger King.
None of those incidents led to charges or arrest.
Winston threw for the game winning score in the final minutes of the Seminoles National Championhip win over Auburn in February.
The star is also a relief pitcher for the school's baseball team. He has been indefinitely suspended from that sport, pending investigation.
