'Gullibility Test' might save you $500,000

A few dollars here and a few dollars there;  Every day, the experts say bad choices add up to a lot of money over a lifetime because people are gullible about clever sales and marketing pitches.

TTCU, the Credit Union is inviting people to take their Gullibility Test online and learn ways they can save hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of their lifetimes by making better purchasing decisions.

"And it basically tells you that $500,000 in your lifetime can be spent buying things that you don't need but you simply want," said Kristi Brooks with TTCU, the Credit Union.

CLICK HERE to take the Gullibility Test.

"It's all free, you can just go to our website, they're featured right there, it's called the Gullibility Test," Brooks said.

She said there are many examples, like buying a cup of coffee at Starbucks, instead of waiting until you can get free coffee at work, or buying designer jeans when a generic brand will work just as well.
