Girlfriend accused of trying to light boyfriend on fire

An Oklahoma City woman was taken into custody over the weekend, after attempting to set her boyfriend on fire.

Police say the incident happened during an argument.

The boyfriend told officers Chana Reede became enraged because she thought he had been cheating on her.

During this time, she produced lighter fluid and began pouring it all over her boyfriend.

She then picked up a lighter.  Police say the victim ran away from her, and she followed him, attempting to set him on fire.

When officers arrived at the apartment, they found the boyfriend locked in a car.  He was said to be soaked in lighter fluid.

Reede was taken to the Oklahoma County Jail.  She faces counts of arson and domestic abuse.
