French build ride celebrating Tulsa

Thu, June 22, 2017 — It turns out, Tulsa is kind of a big deal over in France.

So much so, they have created a Golden Driller ride at an amusement park,  in Jeanmenil.

Tulsa Historical Society Director Michelle Place, Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith and former mayor Kathy Taylor will present a proclamation for the ride.

“It was a wonderful opportunity to promote Tulsa internationally,” the Tulsa group said.

The ride will celebrate Tulsa, the old west, Route 66 and the Oil Boom.
