Firefighters rescue man from cell phone tower

A worker servicing a cell phone tower ends up needing to be rescued by firefighters.

Emergency responders were called to 51st and Sheridan shortly after 1 Friday afternoon.

Firefighters tell KRMG that the worker was hit in the head and was also overcome by the heat.

TFD brought in a 118-foot ladder truck to reach the man and were able to bring him down from the tower.
