Employee attacked by adult male tiger

A tiger mauls a female employee at the G.W. Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood Saturday morning.

The park says the attack happened around 10 a.m.

An adult male tiger attacked the employee after she stuck her hand inside the animal's cage.  The park says the employee was wearing a goose down jacket, making it hard for her to release her hand from the cage quickly

She was transported by helicopter for emergency surgery.  There is no word on her condition.

The park says the tiger will not be put down because the attack was due to employee error.
