Elderly man dies trying to help grandson

An elderly man passes away while attempting to tow his grandson's boat Friday afternoon.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol say Billy Ging's boat capsized at Kaw Lake.  The victim went under near Bear Creek Cove.

Ging was found with a flotation vest around his arm.

While thought to be a drowning, troopers say no cause of death has been determined yet.  The victim's body has been taken to the Oklahoma City Medical Examiner's office.
