Lamin Manneh is a 31 year old policeman married to a 19 year old named Marissa.
Cyber cops were working with the child recovery unit when they came across an on-line ad for what looked like a very young woman.
They set up the appointment and arrested Marissa when she agreed to have sex with the undercover cop for $100.00.
They also put the pinch on her husband who was waiting in the parking lot.
Manneh, who is a Baltimore police officer, was charged with human trafficking and prostitution while his wife will face a single count of prostitution.
The Baltimore Police Department didn’t hesitate to suspend Manneh without pay and then released this statement.
“This allegation is a disgrace and embarrassment to every member, both current and retired, who serve with the Baltimore Police Department. The alleged actions and criminal charges brought against Mr. Manneh are serious and undermine the integrity and pride of this organization. We expect every member of this department to hold themselves to the highest of professional standards. Our colleagues and our community deserve nothing less.”
