The parents of a three-year old girl who weighed only 13 pounds are in the Tulsa County Jail on child neglect charges.
The Oklahoma Department of Human Services took action and got the girl hospitalized last week.
We're told that the girl is being treated for anemia, respiratory failure and blood clots, among other things, that put her in critical condition.
48-year old Joe Mark Knapp and 33-year old Elizabeth Anne Pester, both of Tulsa, are in jail on $50,000 bail each.
DHS had found the girl malnourished a year ago, but let her go back to her parents if they agreed to have her weighed weekly.
Records tell us she had not been seen by a doctor since that time.
