BAPD: Purse-snatching reports increase

Broken Arrow, Okla. — Broken Arrow police are warning possible victims of a holiday crime that seems to increase before Black Friday.

We’re told a woman was the victim in a drive-by purse snatching Sunday at the Walmart near Aspen and Kenosha.

The victim said the driver of another vehicle reached out his car window and took her purse from her shopping cart on the parking lot.

The suspect drove away.

No one has been arrested in the case.
