TULSA, Okla. — People in a south Tulsa neighborhood will be getting access to AT&T’s high-speed, fiber-optic internet service soon, but there are some growing pains that go with it.
Tulsa City Councilor Phil Lakin put out the word on his Facebook page that AT&T is set to do a three-month installation project, starting in late March, in the neighborhoods east of Harvard, between 81st and 91st streets.
The company provided maps (pictured below) where they plan to do the installation work.
Lakin says that means they’ll have to make a mess in some cases with lots of digging, but he says the company is generally pretty good about cleaning up, resodding, fixing sprinkler systems, etc.
And if they don’t do a good job at cleaning up, he encourages people to contact him at his council e-mail at Dist8@TulsaCouncil.org
