TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police arrested a man Sunday night who they say was doing a little stunt driving in a Braum’s Ice Cream store parking lot last night, apparently while drunk.
Police say around 11:40 p.m. they say a white Nissan Altima drive into the Braum’s parking lot near 51st and Yale and start doing donuts.
They say they stopped 33-year-old Ibrahim Tapia in the drive thru, but they say he refused to get out of the car and was yelling at the officers.
They say they shot some pepper balls into the car, which were successful in getting him to exit the vehicle, but they say he kept trying to pull free from police as they were trying to get him into a patrol car and that he even spit in the face of one officer.
He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on multiple complaints, including Aggravated DUI After Former Commission of a Felony, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Reckless Driving, Resisting Arrest, and Obstructing/Interfering with a Police Officer.
