26-year-old Claremore woman dies following car crash in Rogers County

ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said a 26-year-old woman has passed away following a car crash in Rogers County.

Around 8:17 a.m. on Thursday, authorities said 26-year-old Kaylynn Salmon was driving westbound near northeast Akin Road and South 4200 Road.

OHP stated the car swerved right and struck a mailbox before then crossing the centerline. Law enforcement said the car swerved right again and left the road, ultimately striking a tree.

Authorities report there were two passengers in the car who were injured in the crash.
