TPD investigating after two people reportedly shot at party in midtown Tulsa home Sunday

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are currently investigating a shooting at a home Sunday morning in midtown Tulsa.

According to police, officers responded to a shooting near 8th and Birmingham Avenue after midnight Sunday morning. Once on scene, officers saw 30 people in front of a house, including a 17-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the leg.

While searching the area, officers were told that an 18-year-old female had already gone to the hospital for treatment.

Both were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Police say that a fight broke out at a party and several shots were fired hitting the two victims as well as two vehicles outside.

Police say no arrests have been made at this time. They state witnesses have not be cooperative with the investigation.
