Tulsa International Airport hit with ransomware attack

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa International Airport (TIA) says it was the victim of a ransomware attack today. 

In a statement from TIA, they says the incident did not impact airport operations and it does not affect daily travel. 

They say when they became aware of the attack, the airport’s cybersecurity and technology teams immediately contacted law enforcement and began an investigation.

“”The airport has taken steps to contain the incident and is confident the risk has been mitigated.” the airport said.
