TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department says it has arrested a man after a multi-agency investigation into fraud activity involving food stamps and identity theft.

TPD says Robin Black, 64, is accused of peddling cell phones in order to defraud people of their SNAP benefits. They worked with federal partners for months to gather evidence and make an arrest.

A federal warrant for Black was issued this week and TPD tracked Black down and took him into custody as he was leaving his home.

Black was taken to the federal courthouse and handed over to the U.S. Marshals Service. He is charged with conspiracy, benefits fraud, and fraud forfeiture.
