BRAMAN, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has arrested a man wanted in three states after leading troopers on a chase.

OHP says earlier this month near Braman, a trooper attempted to stop a vehicle that failed to yield and continued to drive for nearly two miles. The vehicle at first stopped, but then fled again.

The vehicle attempted to flee through a grassy area near a gas station, but struck a semi weight scale, disabling it. The driver, identified as Marco Trujillo, then fled on foot and was quickly taken into custody.

Trujillo was wanted in three states for multiple charges which included eluding law enforcement and sexual assault of a minor. All three states has issued no-bond warrants for his arrest.

OHP says Trujillo will face charges in Oklahoma before being transferred to the other states to face charges.

A second driver with Trujillo, identified as Melissa Lomas, was also arrested for obstruction after troopers say she used her vehicle to block their ability to do a traffic stop by following Trujillo.
