Two injured in crash in Sapulpa

SAPULPA, Okla. — Two people were injured after a crash Thursday morning in Sapulpa.

According to the Sapulpa Fire Department, the crash happened around 7:15 a.m. at a plant near Highway 66 and Perkins Ave. They said a semi-trailer was backing into the plant when a car crashed into the trailer. 

The two occupants of the car were extricated from the vehicle and sent to the hospital.

The Fire Department states both suffered head injuries and were serious. Their status is unknown at this time.
