CREEK COUNTY, Okla. — The Creek County Sheriff’s Office announced they’ve arrested a suspect following the discovery of a man who had been shot.
On Jan. 4, deputies said they responded to a shooting call in Oakhurst where they found a man who had been shot.
Despite his injuries, authorities said they were able to speak with the victim and several neighbors in the area, leading law enforcement to identify 23-year-old Popeye Lee Nolan as a suspect in the case.
The sheriff’s department reported the victim in this case is currently in stable condition.
Authorities said they located Nolan on Jan. 5 and arrested him on charges of Shooting with Intent to Kill and Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony.
