TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa City Councilor Phil Lakin is on a mission to find and fix misbehaving traffic lights.

On his Facebook page, Councilor Lakin identified traffic lights at three intersections that have had recent problems.
The first involves an old signal box at 71st and Granite, between Yale and Sheridan, that he says is being rebuilt and should be fixed by next Monday.
The second, on Riverside, south of the Creek Turnpike, has been flashing intermittently and has been reset, but he says city crews will continue to investigate what caused it.
The third problem light, also on Riverside, by the River Spirit Casino, is malfunctioning because a car hit the pole that powers that light, he says.
The timeline on repairs is not yet known, he says.
Lakin is asking Tulsans, if they see a problem traffic light, to please call it in.
The number is 918-596-9766 during normal business hours and 918-596-9488 after hours.
