Tulsa Police are investigating after a man was shot Tuesday morning in south Tulsa.
According to police, officers responded to a shooting at 7700 S. 69th East Avenue around 3:30 a.m. They say a man was shot in the hand, and his girlfriend took him to the hospital. Officers went to the hospital, but the victim was not there.
Officers went to the location of the shooting and found that the victim had returned to the location instead of going to the hospital.
Police say the victim changed his story several times, but said he was at the intersection of 71st and Sheridan when someone shot him.
Police say the victim is going to be okay, and the investigation is ongoing.
