TULSA, Okla. — Oklahoma Pet Collective Society is seeking the community’s help in an animal abuse case.
On Dec. 15, a Good Samaritan called police after seeing a man dragging a puppy down the road.
The man, identified as Avion Williamson, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and later charged with animal cruelty, pleading not guilty.
The puppy was taken to a shelter, but his injuries were so severe he was at risk of being euthanized. The Oklahoma Pet Collective Society took custody and the dog was then placed in a foster home and named Noah.

Medical exams reveled that both of Noah’s back legs were broken, with risk of bone infections.
The nonprofit said Noah is settled into his new foster home and it will continue sharing updates.
Williams is due back in Okmulgee County Court on Jan. 22.
The Oklahoma Pet Collective Society is asking the community to contact Okmulgee County District Attorney Carol Iski to make sure the animal abuse charges remain and are not reduced.
You can send letters to the Okmulgee County District Attorney’s Office at 719 East 8th Street, Suite B, Okmulgee, OK. 74447. You can also send an email to carol.iski@dac.state.ok.us.
